SubSurface LD-20 Leak Detector
The SubSurface LD-20 Leak Detector is a professional acoustic leak detection system designed to help locate and pinpoint leaks in underground pressurized water systems. Its high-sensitivity sensor and low-noise amplification help operators hear smaller, more subtle leak sounds, while the backlit graphic LCD provides visual feedback to assist with pinpointing. The LD-20 offers approximately 7.5 times greater sensitivity than conventional leak detectors, making it well suited for demanding utility and water-system applications.
With 55 adjustable filter settings and a frequency range of 100 to 5,000 Hz, the LD-20 can be tuned to help isolate leak sounds from traffic, wind, machinery, and other environmental noise. Interchangeable attachments allow the system to be used on streets and slabs as well as hydrants, valves, meters, and fittings. The lightweight amplifier, long battery life, and mobile-app connectivity make it a versatile solution for water departments, contractors, municipalities, and professional leak-detection crews.
