Leica Disto x6 Laser Distance Meter
The Leica DISTO X6 is especially suitable for rough construction sites. The combination of the DISTO X6 and the Leica DST 360-X Adapter enables P2P Technology, which means distances between any two points or complex areas can be measured from a safe location, even in inaccessible areas. Afterwards, the results can be downloaded as perfectly organised DXF files and further processed in any CAD software. Visualisation of the data in the DISTO Plan app is also possible directly on site, allowing you to see immediately if any measurement points are still missing. This supports the digitalisation process, shortens workflows, saves money and avoids errors.

When docked in a DST 360-X tripod adapter, the DISTO X6 is transformed into a Point-to-Point (P2P) measurement station.
No other Laser Distance Meter can capture the tie distance between two points form 250m away.
If you have beed getting hard to reach measurements the hard way, capturing P2P measurements with a Disto X6 P2P package will radically improve your workflow.

The X6 offers a few different options for exporting 2D or 3D DXF files to CAD depending on your workflow.
Sometimes, the pressure of pushing the ON/DIST button can cause the laser point to move off your target. At long measurement distances, even a small wobble at the laser emitter causes wide movement of the laser point at the end of the line, potentially ruining a measurement, especially on a small target.
Gesture-Activated Meaurements eliminate the need to touch the DISTO: Carefully place the laser dot or crosshairs of the Pointfinder Camera on your target and simply wave a hand in front of the device to briefly interrupt the beam. When the DISTO senses this pulse, it triggers the measurement.

Indoors or generally in favorable lighting conditions, the red laser dot is very clearly visible so that the object can be easily targeted. In bright outdoor areas, however, or even in bright sunlight, the laser dot is no longer visible. The laser measure can still measure without any problems. To aim, however, you now need the Pointfinder – a camera that shows you the target exactly in the corsshairs on the crystal-clear display with IPS technology.
The precision measurement module of the DISTO X6 is protected by solid rubber and special fiberglass-reinforced plastic bracing. Therefore it is particularly resistant and withstands drop tests of up to 2 m. Furthermore, the housing and keypad are waterjet protected and dust-tight to an IP65 protection reting, so that the laser measure can be easily cleaned by holding it under running water. These freaures make the Leica DISTO X6 the ideal measuring instrument for tough, rugged conditions.
All measurements and results can be summarised in report files on the Leica DISTO X6 directly on teh construction site and downloaded later in teh office via USB interface. This way, the measurement results can be quickly and easily integrated into quotations, invoices, etc. The extra-large memory allows the creation of up to 300 report files on the DISTO X6.
