Leica GeoCloud Protect Subscription
Leica GeoCloud Protect is a one-year security subscription designed to help protect compatible Leica total stations against theft, unauthorized use, and loss. Working with Leica’s GeoCloud platform and a compatible GMI01 communication device, GeoCloud Protect provides location and security capabilities that allow equipment owners to keep track of valuable surveying instruments from virtually anywhere.
Through GeoCloud Fleet, users can view instrument location information, receive movement alerts, and remotely lock or unlock the total station. If an instrument is stolen, Stolen Mode can be activated to lock the equipment and increase location tracking activity, helping provide valuable information for recovery efforts. GeoCloud Protect provides survey companies with an additional layer of security while making it easier to manage and protect equipment in the field.
Locate all your TS20s, anywhere
Locate your TS20 anywhere, anytime, whether it’s at a rugged outdoor job site, inside a warehouse, or even in a moving cargo van. Get an accurate overview of where your total stations are on the map via Wi-Fi, GNSS, and LTE. Additionally, with live updates, you can follow your instrument’s location in real time.
With GeoCloud Protect, you also benefit from smart tracking features. For example, when a locked instrument is moved, the location update rate increases for higher accuracy tracking. When the instrument stops, the update rate lowers to conserve battery life, ensuring long-lasting protection.
